Jonathan Chartier is an enthusiast defence commentator who has spent twenty years working in Government and Local Government Education IT services and project delivery, he has recently made an industry and career switch to public transport services. While growing up in Lewes East Sussex, he now resides in Inverness within the Scottish Highlands, enjoying the clear air, many country sports activities, and the rich culture. Jonathan also has a political background and aspirations spanning many decades, he is the current Convener of the Highland Liberal Democrats.
