Lance Corporal Harry Clark of the British Army emerged victorious in the latest series of the BBC’s ‘The Traitors,’ captivating the nation with his composure.

Representing 47 Regiment Royal Artillery (47 Regt RA) and based in Wiltshire, the 23-year-old Harry leveraged the skills he developed during his military service to secure the title and cash prize, marking a significant personal victory.

Harry credits much of his success and life choices to his Grandad Dave, a former Parachute Regiment member who played a crucial role in his life. The values of family, respect, and the principles of being a gentleman were instilled in him from an early age.

Harry expressed his motivation, stating, “My Grandad on my Mother’s side was in the Parachute Regiment, he was my idol and I wanted to make him proud. I wanted to do something different, I didn’t know much of the world beyond my home town of Slough, and I wanted to break the mould. I loved the idea of the challenge.

      • You should watch it, would give a very good insight into how our society , commerce and politics works be it everything from complacency, stupidity, naivety, confusion all the way up to manipulation, lies and cover ups into the territory of machiavellian exploitation and that’s just scratching the surface.

        • George – I am only teasing 🙂

I am always very impressed that you find the time to do all of this to such a high standard.

          Keep up the good work!

        • Congratulations on your newborn. Only 25 years to go on that project… 😉

Obviously the community here wishes you all well and there’s a fair bit of experience you can draw on too.

Have you considered a People channel alongside the Air Sea Land…

After all, none of those happen without the People.

        • Yes, congratulations on the new arrival. Any link with the maternity absence of our missing comment moderator?

As father of four sons, you have my best wishes.

      • That’s a concern, it was once a very good paper (worked with many good people there when freelancing) remained generally objective if conservative, despite their right bias but sadly these days objectivity seems to have become a swear word in the media and their critics. They too often have a corrosive effect on those who are drawn into their environment sadly.

  1. And an excellent ambassador for the British Army he is. I’m sure he will have an impact on Army recruitment. For those who didn’t watch the show. It became something of guilty pleasure during dull January. 🇬🇧

    • Apparently my Wife watches it and says it’s brilliant…. right up there with Love Island, I’m a Celebrity and the real wives of Beverly Hills….. whatever they are….😎😂

  2. I’m not ashamed to say I watched it and I was gripped. A bit of escapism on wet and windy January evenings. Well done to Harry and thank you George for all your commitment to this feed.
