Next summer’s Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) will spotlight specialised aircraft used for intelligence, surveillance, maritime patrol, and reconnaissance, under the newly announced theme, ‘Eyes in the Skies.’

With over 250 days until the event, more than 20,000 tickets have already been sold, highlighting the strong anticipation for the annual showcase at RAF Fairford.

Paul Atherton, CEO of Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises, expressed his excitement, stating, “This year’s show was a huge success, and we are thrilled to see people already booking tickets for next year.” He noted that planning is well underway, and the theme provides an opportunity for visitors to interact with aircraft that typically remain behind the scenes due to their operational nature.

RIAT25, scheduled for 18th to 20th July 2025, will also mark the 40th anniversary of the event being held at RAF Fairford. In addition to the ‘Eyes in the Skies’ theme, the event will pay homage to its rich history with special exhibitions showcasing four decades of aviation excellence.

Tickets for the event are available via AirTattoo.com, with aircraft announcements expected to begin early next year.

Nice theme.
I wonder if the RAF will bring one of their new Wedgetails?

That would be great but I’d be happy with P8, RC135W and Voyager Tankers, without which we couldn’t see and do much.
