An incident has occurred in the northern region of Crimea, where an explosion destroyed missiles being transported by rail, according to Ukraine’s defence ministry.

The leader of the city of Dzhankoi, appointed by Russia, reported that the area experienced a drone attack.

Ukraine acknowledged the explosions, but did not explicitly claim responsibility for the incident. If verified, this would represent a rare action by Ukraine’s military in Crimea, an area occupied since 2014.

“The explosions continue the process of Russia’s demilitarisation and prepares the Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea for de-occupation,” the defence ministry said.

Russia’s state news agency, TASS, cited Mr. Ivin’s comments on Krym-24 TV, stating that multiple buildings caught fire and the power grid sustained damage.

Ukraine reported that the destroyed Russian Kalibr-KN cruise missiles had an operational range exceeding 2,500 km (1,550 miles) on land and 375 km at sea.

I’ll cut and past some SM comments on this event, not my words. Make of them what you will, “Explosion in Dzhankoy destroyed Russian Caliber cruise missiles while being transported by rail, – Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of DefenseWhy is this nonsense. We argue. Everyone knows what kind of mushroom rises from one Caliber rocket when it hits the target. Can you imagine if they were carrying 5-10 pieces, what fireworks should have been. Each military man will tell you that when they get into the ammunition depot, then a column of smoke and fragmentation can be observed… Read more »

Well Johnski, at least this time you’re not trying to pass off the delusions of the Russian propaganda ministry as your own. As per usual with their ridiculous explanations – such as the Moskau was sunk by a careless cigarette – etc it doesn’t stand up to any logical scrutiny. As for the drone being USA produced, good for them, the only regrettable thing is that it didn’t have ‘Made in U.K.’ written on them. But it must be a bit embarrassing, having your Kalibr cruise missiles destroyed, not by a piece of hi-tech weaponry but a commercial drone that… Read more »

As time passes more info surfaces, this is the latest from SM. On the Ukrainian UAV Raid on #Dzhankoy in #Crimea⚡️Another massive attack by Ukrainian UAVs was carried out on the Crimean peninsula last night. At least six “Mugin-5” type UAVs, artificially equipped with explosives, were used against #Dzhankoy. As a result, two drones were shot down by a Pantsir SAM system, and two fell on administrative buildings near the railway station. A fifth destroyed a grocery shop, while shrapnel from a sixth damaged private houses on Yuzhnaya, Gagarin and Chekhov streets. The map shows the approximate strike and impact… Read more »

Wow I haven’t heard you come out with such volumes of bullsh@t since the Ukrainians sank your cruiser, the Moskau. Must have been a substantial number of Kalibrs destroyed in the attack for the Ministry of Lies to make such an effort.

Queen Gertrude’s observation in Act 3 Scene 2 of “Hamlet” springs to mind…

To be frank, virtually nothing you post is your own words, they’re invariably fictitious deflection and bullshit provided by degenerate pederasts or lowlife Russian milbloggers. But there is always one constant , and that is the fact that everything you post never stands up to scrutiny, it is always shown up as a big fat shining lie, untethered to any reality. No one needs to read what you’re posted above, you lie like a goose shits – it’s either about to or it already has. It’s said that there’s two certainties in life, death and taxes. I’d add two more,… Read more »

Shit the bed, the chuff you spew is hilarious! But at least you’re right about not posting in your own words, that’s your default setting as you’re a leashed troll with a handler and an agenda to push! Anyway, you posted a lot, how about one more line, stating your condemnation of this illegal invasion of Ukraine!

Oh dear, you seem lost for words! Hence the garbage you post. Besides, not interested in the target or the claims, the fact the Ukrainians are pushing UAVs and drones across your supposed secure air space, makes all of us who condemn this illegal war, grin and smile, as it continues to show how totally misjudged and mishandled is this epic Nazi cluster fuck of an invasion by your wank mag special one, Pooptin!

Excellent. Crimea is Ukrainian, not Russian. Xi criticised “Unilateral actions”, but the elephant in the room is the SCS artificial island military bases dumped on coral reefs where closer nations had better claims, ripping up the HK agreement & Putin invading & devestating Ukraine(again).

Well done Ukraine. As Crimea is Ukranian territory recognised under international law the Russians should not even be there. As to why they have deployed by rail Kalibre cruise missiles to crimes god only knows. I thought these Russian “wonder weapons” had a range of 50 million miles, had accuracy to within 5cms and therefore have no reason to be deployed within Ukrainian territory. Crimes is Ukranian. Let’s see what the 2 dictators meeting in Moscow say about this little event. President Xi can arse off, whilst Mad Vlad is a war criminal wanted for crimes against humanity by the… Read more »

Oh, nice. So does this mean the Kerch bridge is still out of commission? Both the railway and roadway, or only the railway?

That is good news but I’m a bit suspicious. Russia is saying it was done with a Chinese drone while the Chinese leader is in Moscow. Look xi I need weapons ur already giving them to Ukraine.

If it’s a Chinese drone then probably an unarmed Alibaba purchase, which the Ukrainians then weaponised. As such, Russia can buy them online anyway – if it has the spare money…

Good news. Hopefully the opening shot of a new counteroffensive that’ll see Ukraine ultimately seize back Crimea.

I may be optimistic, but I think Ukraine can do it.

Ukrainian’s have no where else to go. Russia does. By surviving Ukraine wins in the end.
