God in heaven. When that is listed, you no longer have to wonder how much new kit really costs!

So you buy the bog standard aircraft and then have to bolt on all the ‘extras’!

Wow, 12 helicopters plus all the stuff you’d expect for a helicopter comes in at almost $80m per unit! Half of which is acquisition alone. My condolences to the Brazilian tax payer.

Dated design that some, nonetheless, have judged to remain viable/functional. Acquisition cost, as listed, would be a significant concern…🤔😳😱

The actual buy is 37.5m per aircraft. The additional cost is maintenance support, including some weapons.

The original plan was to purchase used US Army Blackhawks but that was not followed. These are brand new choppers.
