The Ministry of Defence has said there are no plans to second homeland security personnel to the Royal Military Police to tackle far-right extremism within the Armed Forces.
Responding to a written question from Conservative MP Mark Pritchard, Veterans Minister Al Carns said existing systems are considered sufficient to identify and address extremist activity.
“The British Army takes far-right extremism extremely seriously and is fully equipped to act swiftly and decisively where necessary to uphold its high standards,” he said.
Carns added that “robust measures are firmly in place to prevent and address any such activity,” and that current frameworks and partnerships are already effective in managing the issue.
The minister confirmed that “there are no plans to second homeland security personnel to the Royal Military Police,” indicating no immediate expansion of external involvement in military policing or counter-extremism functions.

And does it take “Far Left” extremism as seriously?
Far right extremism, what a complete joke.
How about sorting the mass feral gangs maurauding around places in London causing chaos on the streets. We never wanted them here in the first place. How about sorting out the 10’s of thousands of Islamic extremists in the country, we never wanted them here either.
Don’t remember any Far right attacks in Britain, i can mention plenty of Islamist attacks.
Europe wide there are Islamist attacks every week somewhere, nobody wanted them there either.
Not interested in government playing ‘look theres a squirrel!’ games, we all know the truth.
