Dear Readers,

We are thrilled to share some good news with you. Thanks to your generous donations, we have been able to bridge the gap and continue our mission of delivering accurate, insightful, and timely news on defence matters.

Your support has been instrumental in helping us maintain our operations and uphold the standards of independent journalism we are committed to.

Our decision to significantly reduce the number of adverts on our site was driven by your feedback, and we are pleased to see that this change has been positively received. The contributions we received via ‘Buy me a coffee’ have played a crucial role in sustaining our website during this period.

Thanks to your incredible support, we have reached a point where we no longer need to ask for donations to keep the site running. Your belief in our mission and your willingness to invest in the future of independent defence journalism have made all the difference.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you who contributed. Your generosity has allowed us to focus on what we do best: providing in-depth analysis of military operations, defence policies, and geopolitical developments.

While we are no longer soliciting donations, we remain committed to delivering the high-quality journalism you have come to expect from us. Your continued readership and engagement are vital to our success, and we look forward to bringing you more stories that matter.

Thank you once again for your unwavering support.

Warm regards,

The UK Defence Journal Team

  1. It says a lot about the integrity of the site that you’ve said “That’s enough, we have what we need”. So many others would have just let donations accumulate.

  2. If you leave the dono system up, i don’t mind chipping in a bit here and there through the year. It’s good value for the news I want but I won’t complain if you start sending someone to do test match write ups. See if you can kill off the Telegraph.

  3. Keep up the good work and then an occasional I would say two times a year max please donate to keep us going and we will try and help 🙂
