  1. The situation between the Ukraine and Russia is one which really should be explored more and exemplifies how a cold war is being waged asymmetrically against the western democratic nations,

last night Barbados became a republic, with the left of the political spectrum waxing lyrical about how the Country had rid itself of 300 years of slave rule. (totally ignoring that Barbados gained independence in 1966 and that slavery was banned on the Island in 1834) The black female presenter from CH4 kept shouting out about reparations , then when she interviewed the new president, she in turn waxed lyrical about reparations for:
    1) Slavery
    2) climate change
    3) Covid

Nowhere has it been mentioned that Barbados decided to get rid of the Queen as head of state after China started offering lots of loans (£490 million last year) something it has been doing all across the region , as well as elsewhere around the world, always nations happy to receive a bung and the reason for that, so as to garner votes at the UN. We saw something along those lines when 22 Western Nations penned a letter to the security council regards Beijing and its treatment of the Uyghur Muslims, within hours a counter letter from 37 countries praised China of its treatment of the Uyghurs hit the UN. A letter targeted at public (Read that as wonks) opinion. Now of late China has decided to expand its empire in the South China sea, it has done likewise on the Indian border, it has taken control of major assets inside countries who have defaulted on loans (Sri Lanka , Kenya, Zambia etc..) and of course there’s Taiwan. If any of the above should go hot, then the matter will be discussed at the UN, but if you have countries in your pocket willing to back you, you will be able to do as you please.

Now to Russia, it is in bed (Of sorts) with China , and it would be in Chinas interest to back Moscow at the UN . Also today Moscow has publicity threatened war, if anybody decides to back the Ukraine, then there’s the gas weapon, which conveniently was tightened the other month in which to send the message at the start of winter to the EU, that when we say jump, you ask “How high” all of the above are aimed primarily at the civilian population who are already saying
    1) NATO is a warmonger
    2) Not our Problem
    3) Russia and China are peaceful

Now having cultivated a wonk mindset across Europe that Russia has done nothing wrong and that actually the US and by default NATO is upsetting the Apple cart. Do you think the EU is willing to say , enough is enough if Moscow decides to acquire all of the Eastern Ukraine up to the Dnieper especially when they themselves have gone out of the way to polarise 3 main elements of NATO
    The US
    The UK
    Turkey.
Let’s not forget the wonk element who whilst happy to berate the US and UK for imperialism, not only remain silent on China ,Russia, Iran, Venezuela but actually praise them .

Personally I feel that we are moving in the direction of a new world order and one which the wonks in the west will regret once they achieve their aim of emasculating the West and allowing the likes of Moscow, Beijing, Tehran , Islamabad and Caracas to do as they please. But not to worry, our armed forces will at least be gender neutral who will be issued with vegan rainbow coloured cam cream which will allow them to melt into the background of the blue oyster bar.
