Four Russian cruise missiles launched from the Caspian Sea fell short of their targets in Syria and crash landed in a rural part of Iran.
It has been widely reported that at least four missiles crashed as they flew over Iran. It’s unclear where in Iran the missiles landed, Russian ships have been positioned in the south Caspian Sea, meaning the likely flight path for missiles into Syria would cross over both Iran and Iraq.
According to the Russian officials, four warships from the Russian Navy’s Caspian Flotilla launched 26 3M-14T Kalibr NK cruise missiles that hit 11 targets within Syrian territory. Russian officials have denied the crash while local media in Iran have been reporting the crash.
The missile is a modular system with five different variants: two anti-shipping types, one for land attack, and two with an anti-submarine role. The missile is designed to share common parts between the surface and submarine-launched variants.
At least four missiles fell as they flew over Iran according to US officials said citing military and intelligence information. It remains unclear whether anyone was injured in crash although it is highly unlikely.

I was trying to find that quote a while back. Perfect thanks.
Pretty impressive failure rate then… ?
But there is no concrete evidence about it…..
No all the concrete is now rubble
Not like that… But up to now Russians provides the informations about their actions…
Good shot .. give them some more cannon fodder
I do hope they didn’t steal the guidance systems from the US along with the cruise missile technology…
Now thre’s pinpoint accuracy for you.
?????
Russian technology at it’s best lmao
Not sure who to believe Americans or Russians.
Russia is a failed state, and ‘loose cannon’ in the middle east, the monkeys will start WWIII.
If true , then about the same failure rate as the Tomahawk CM
Rubbish.
Seen no proof of it yet though!!
The west has a long history of underestimating Russia…
Your point being? The West is much more prosperous than Russia! Russia is ruled at the moment by a dictator and it spends up to 30% of its GDP on its military. If Japan spent 30% on its military then they would be much stronger than Russia! Nobody is underestimating anyone! we know how unstable Putin and North Korea is, thats what concerns most of the rest of the world. Unfortunately for Putin he’ll never be able to match the American military no matter how much he tries, and with the passing of each day, Russia gets poorer.
Putin is after a sea port in the Med’ for his antique navy.
