The first edition of the UK Defence Journal has now been released, it has articles from all aspects of the military from tanks to aircraft carriers. It contains amazing insight and experience and is well worth a read! Fancy reading about the Queen Elizabeth class, the new air tankers, crew operations on a Challenger 2 tank and many more interesting things?

An interesting, impartial and well informed first edition. I hope you mean to go on, as you have started.

What happens to our logistics program, after we leave the EU, in regard to the European Offensive/Defensive systems aboard our new ships. Heaven forbid we do not want anything to do with
an EU controlled Armed Forces Group. So where will the Logistics fit in with the US Navy and NATO if we ever come to a real shooting war?

It is a very simple question that should leave no doubt about it’s meaning!

Brian,

Im no specialist, but the vast majority of our defensive agreements with the other European countries are through NATO. If Britain left the Eurozone this would have no impact on the treaty. I would expect this as there are countries within NATO not within the EU and their defensive arrangements remain unchanged. Im not sure if this is what you were asking but feel free to discuss it with me further!

Very good articles although there are an overwhelming number of grammatical errors and spelling mistakes which do detract from an otherwise professional publication.
