A team from the RAF Mountain Rescue Service, stationed at RAF Valley, has conducted a rescue operation for two walkers on Glyder Fawr, the fifth-highest mountain in Wales.
The rescue was carried out in conjunction with the Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation.
The operation involved lowering the walkers 500 meters down from the peak of Glyder Fawr, which stands at 3,284 feet (1,000 meters), in the Snowdonia region. The rescue was performed in challenging conditions, including cold and darkness.
The RAF Mountain Rescue Team @RAF_Valley recently rescued two walkers trapped on Glyder Fawr.
They worked with @ovmro in the cold & dark, lowering the walkers 500m by rope in stages, before walking them to safety.
