BAE Systems has entered into a new collaboration with Czech technology company PragoData to support asset management and digital transformation across Czechia’s defence sector, according to the company.
Initially, BAE Systems will provide PragoData with its products and services to enhance asset management capabilities.
In the longer term, both organisations plan to explore deeper cooperation to help modernise and optimise complex defence assets, drawing on their combined expertise in information management and lifecycle support.
BAE Systems said its data and systems integration platform, PropheSEA™, will play a central role in the partnership. The software, already used by the UK Royal Navy and several NATO allies, provides integrated product support (IPS) across an asset’s entire lifecycle, giving users real-time insight to make informed operational decisions. PropheSEA™ incorporates Eurostep’s ShareAspace collaboration software, a tool widely adopted by NATO defence organisations and industry primes to enable secure information exchange.
Campbell Harte, Head of Business Development and Sales at Eurostep, part of BAE Systems’ Digital Intelligence business, said in the press release:
“In today’s rapidly evolving threat landscape, ensuring assets are available, reliable and prepared has never been more important. BAE Systems has a wealth of expertise and proven solutions in the IPS space – and through working with PragoData, we are proud to bring this to our Czech allies. Together, we can achieve our shared vision of delivering effective asset support structures, underpinned by people, process and technology.”
Lubomír Toman, Chief Sales Officer at PragoData, said:
“Through working with BAE Systems, PragoData is strengthening its competencies in digital defence and security solutions, which are a necessity in times of significant geopolitical threats. A world leader in defence digitalisation, interoperability and long-term technical support, BAE Systems will help us provide next generation technology to our clients across Czechia’s defence sector.”
