Simply put, the UK Defence Journal is not for or against Trident.

Our team range from activism against it to support for a like for like renewal, therefore, we don’t have a stance as a group and our articles don’t push any one point.

Why do we talk about it so much?

We try and correct myths over things like the cost or whether or not the system needs US permission to be able to function operationally.

We correct myths on all defence topics.

Why does this need said?

We often post polls or articles about the topic only to have results or content attacked. Speaking personally, I (the editor) would rather the money spent on conventional forces.
