  1. Good morning 🇬🇧, hoping to hear some good news that the Ukrainian’s still have some drones left and can strike some Russian naval and land targets targets that seem to be pummeling Mariupol into nothing.Thousands of civilians trapped too. Russia’s actions are getting beyond description at the moment. They will have it coming to them one day. Strength to 🇺🇦 and it’s forces and it’s people!! You are not being forgotten by the world! I think we all wish the West could have done a lot more and sooner. 🇦🇺 🇳🇿

    • This morning a transport An-12BK (callsign MSI6549) of the Ukrainian company Motor Sich and a military transport A400M of the Turkish Air Force (callsign TUAF254) arrived in Polish Rzeszow from Turkish Tegirdag. The production line of the TB-2 of Baykar Defense is located in Tekirdag. Take from that what you will.

The initial order was for 18 TB2 which have been delivered , Ankara and Kyiv then signed an order (2020) for an additional 48 but to be built inside the Ukraine, however circumstances change and I can only presume that Turkey has decided to make up the slack. On that note its a win win situation for Turkey, as its TB2 is getting nothing but good press from the conflict across the Ukraine, and so Ankara knows people will come a knocking in which to purchase their TB2. Can’t say the same for the Russian Orion this is due to how when the US refused to sell the Predator to Turkey, the Turks decided to build their own , which unlike the rest didnt use off the shelf PGMs but ones specially designed to work with the TB2 The MAM family:
        MAM-C
        MAM-L
        MAM-T

The first two can be seen on the top picture and have proven most effective.

Excuse the grammer on the screen dump as google translate isnt perfect:

      • Even more dead conscripts and smashed armour, and more flaccid cock action from your boss Poop Tin! He, along with the Russkie mil have now become a joke, and we are all now wondering why we all so concerned by your various “shock armies” based in E Germany in the Cold War! Delete “ock” insert “it”! Should have brought BAOR home earlier and mobilised the cadets!

  2. So as many here will have grasped, I have a ferocious appetite when it comes to reading especially when it comes to the field of all things green. However I am only human and bypass certain articles if they don’t catch my eye. So this evening I was playing catch up on reading an article on Zapad 2021 a Multinational exercise held in Russia, Belarus and Kalingrad last September . Damn I wish I had read it earlier. The article goes into great depth and detail how Moscow would execute air drops inside enemy territory , But before I post that article, there is another which chronologically breaks down the first day of the war. Reading one and then the other shows, that Moscow not only planned what they were going to do on the first day of the war with the Ukraine regards capturing the airport outside kyiv, but they explained in great detail how they would go about it. I get the impression that int and squint inside the Ukraine didn’t pass like I did on the December article and set in motion a plan of action to react to such an airborne drop. Enjoy, oh and just for the info, the pages will delete after a week:

  3. Just a thought, might be totally impractical, but with Montrose T23 sitting there rusting away, if it’s still got some life in it, do you reckon it could be repainted and fitted out with some decent armament (76mm/ Brimstone/30mm/StingRay?) gifted to Ukraine with a help or uav? Of even better, to build 1-2 new naval craft and gift those to Ukraine as part of our aid support?

    • With Russia controlling the sea off ukraines coast how on earth would it get to them? And even if it did, I’d give it a life expectancy of seconds…

        • Ships assigned to the Ukrainian Navy and under their flag and manned by Ukrainian’s should be able to enter. I agree with Marked above, it’s not exactly the best time at the moment.

          • No, that is not correct. NO warships, including those of Black Sea countries like Russia, Ukraine, Romania etc.

      • Yes, just something useful as it seems a waste just rusting away. I think others have said here that it is too far gone in terms of repairs. Isn’t the Montrose still on active duty?

    • Could we not kit them out in a way so they could go in full privateer mode. As in sailing around the worlds oceans seizing and impounding any Russians ships or Oligarchs Yatchs. They could then sell them of to help fund the war in Ukraine.

Even just one ship doing that surely would pull away some Russian ships in the Black sea.

    • I co share a blog site and have done for over 10 years. Its hard work keeping it going which is why these past few years instead of knocking out 5 articles a day (like I used to do) I’m now upto around 5 a week from 1 a week a month ago. And George (the owner) does a pretty good job of keeping this site current.

  4. No Gov dept spending news from the Chancellor’s speech today. Safe to say from the tone that there will be no increase in the defence budget.
