A senior U.S. Army commander has been suspended following an incident at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, involving the display of official leadership photographs.
According to media reports, photographs of President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth — which should have been displayed prominently to reflect the Army’s chain of command — were instead found turned around, leaving only the blank backs of the frames visible.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the U.S. Army said that the commander’s suspension was not related to misconduct, and dismissed suggestions that she had deliberately altered the display. “As previously stated, she was not suspended for misconduct,” the Army said.
“To reiterate, no one on the Fort McCoy leadership team, which includes Col. Baez-Ramirez, directed or supported the removal of any leader portraits. The Leader Board was corrected upon notification of the issue. We have no further details to provide at this time while this matter is under review.”
On Sunday, Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth reshared a post on X (formerly Twitter) which stated: “Commander of Fort McCoy, whose base chain-of-command board was missing photos of Trump, Vance and Hegseth, has been suspended.”
The U.S. Army has confirmed that the matter remains under review and that no final conclusions have been drawn regarding responsibility for the incident.

I am concerned as a Constitutional crisis is pretty much inevitable and many saying by the Summer, what with judges being arrested by FBI lackeys ‘following orders’ this could well as with the Commander in Greenland part of a process of using all means possible to remove any military commanders who are deemed unreliable in following orders. We can only speculate what those ‘orders’ may eventually be but clearly weakening all powers that might prevent autocratic take over of power is in full swing. Hopefully Trumps rapidly decaying support and disasterous overstretch and policy failures might yet thwart his plans.

I think he was pretty much pushed for not being a yes man but interestingly he said the US military owes allegiance not to any one figure not even the House or Senate but to the Constitution which is going to be tested at some point I suspect. A lot depends how many yes men Trump and co can get into power by then. I’m shocked at how he has been able to bend the DofJ to his will so quickly knowing of course that that Dept has control over the US Marshals who ostensibly are the only power the Courts have to enforce their warrants and legal decisions. The crunch will come as and when a Federal judge holds DofJ lawyers or others inn the Govt with contempt. That has never happened whereby the Marshals are in that position and one former high up Marshal stated he hopes it never does but it’s looking quite close presently. The ‘following orders’ defence is I think going to be tested especially ially as even the Trump biased Supreme Court is being defied as things stand. It’s not going to be pretty and I wouldn’t rule out civil war unless Trump is thwarted because Americans are seeing through his BS but desperate men and all that eh.
